The Walled Gardens is a unique culinary experience from award winning chef Eddie Shepherd. Serving a modern plant-based tasting menu in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. It has been inclued in several lists of the best restaurants in the country - despite not being the traditional restaurant set up.

Eddie cooks for just 8 diners a night, serving a multi-course menu with informal hospitality. The dinners take place the converted ground floor of Eddie's home where he cooks & serves guests from an open kitchen. It's an ambitious culinary project with unique access to the chef.

Bookings are released 5 months in advance on the 1st of each month. Demand for reservations has been extremely high and selling out very quickly but it's always worth checking availability.

BYOB - The Walled Gardens is BYOB, no alcohol is served or sold at the dinners but guests are invited to bring their own alcoholic or non alcoholic drinks of choice & wine fridge is available to chill drinks. A seasonal soft drink is served on arival & water and cordial are provided on the tables.

ALLERGIRES & DIETARY REQUIEMENTS - All the food served is vegetarian. I can cater for gluten free or vegan guests if notified at the time of booking. I cannot cater for nut allergies & while alcohol is not on sale here some is used in preparing the food. Other dietary requirements must be discussed prior to booking. 

LOCATION - The Walled Gardens is located on Alness Road in Whalley Range, Manchester. The full address along with directions & details will be sent to you upon purchasing a ticket.

PRICING - The tasting menu is priced at £125 per person. This covers everything - the full tasting menu, a welcome drink & the tea and coffee at the end of the dinner, the booking system does also charge a small booking fee. As the dinners are BYOB you are invited to bring along the drinks you would like to enjoy with your meal - alcoholic or soft drinks. There is a wine fridge to chill drinks and no corkage fee.

Resrvations are released on the 1st of each month for the month 5 months ahead.
