September - A Snippet in Pictures

So September has been pretty hectic, I finished at one restaurant, went to Madrid for a week, started at a new restaurant – ‘Bistro 1847’
Where with head chef Wendy we’ve been working on new menus plus a bunch of other bits, and I’ve also had cooking demos to fit in.

So I thought until my next few new dishes are ready to add to the site I would put up this short post in pictures of some of what I’ve been up to through september. I hope its of some interest, ‘tis but a tiny snippet but its been a great month.

Playing with a different presentation, I didn’t like this as much as my original version though so left it alone (click here for original)

This was given to me by a lovely woman who came to one of my demos last year, it is a floral representation of my ‘Chocolate Sorbet with Orange and Cardamom Mist’ - she chose and arranged flowers based on the flavours in the dish and with the small white flowers to represent the dry ice mist. Very cool and an amazing unexpected gesture. You can see the dish this is based on here
